D3/D4 RRS Redarc BCDC Dual Battery Tray

I also will soon have available for sale, a complete stainless steel dual battery tray to facilitate the fitment of a Redarc BCDC battery charger.

This tray will come with a heat shield to protect the charger from the heat emitted from the cooling system and power steering reservoir tanks.

The photos I have provided here are of the prototype tray and fitted to the very latest Land Rover Discovery. The final tray will require no drilling for fitment, no drilling to mount circuit breakers and mounting points for the wiring clips that have to be repositioned, so that they may be resecured after removal.

My aim is not to have to drill any holes in the body work of the vehicle at all when fitting this dual battery system and accessory wiring.

This tray is designed to receive the Exide ORB34DC-48 AGM battery.

EDIT: I am aware there are incomplete connections in some photo's. These photo's are for illustration only

Some photo's of our custom made laser cut, stainless steel dual battery tray designed to be fitted with a Redarc BCDC charger. The tray incorporates a heat shield for the charger and all holes pre cut to accept existing plugs, continuous duty solenoids, Redarc BCDC Charger and 6 x circuit breakers in the support so that there is no drilling in to the vehicle at all when fitting.

    V8 Petrol

So from the photos, it looks like this won't fit with a V8 petrol which has dual air filters - is that correct?
