I'm holding out for more reviews, hopefully one with the lower stall HD converter.

    Cheers.
    Jose, any comments?

Also, I thought we would have received a few more reviews by now. Anyone else care to add a review of how their new turbo is going?

    Cheers.

Mine has been in for about 4 months now. Vehicle is a 2000 130 with 185,000km so its a manual which is not the info you were after.
The turbo, boost box and remap from Jose has transformed the vehicle. I did add an Allisport IC and a Provent when I changed the turbo. I have 33" BFGs but you can be sitting on 100Kph on the highway in 5th and put your foot down and the thing takes off, great for passing. Overall much more torque so really good offroad and no major drop in economy. Currently I have it boosting to just under 20psi. I put up some posts in this thread last year about the changes. I would certainly do it again if I had a standard Td5. Not an auto but hope this helps

Thanks Nick, I've done it the other way around. I've got the remap and HD auto already done and am curious about how the TD5inside turbo will change or compliment what I already have. I'm quite happy with the current setup but I would like to improve the turbo lag situation and any midrange gains on top of what I gained by the re-map would be a bonus. I've also got a performance intercooler on the way.

Are you running an EGT gauge? If so did temps change with the new turbo?
    Cheers.

If I get in more in the specs of the turbo, I would reveal the result of all our work wich is just technical stuff for most of you (users and costumers) but could be bit more than that if someone want to try and copie our solutions.

If you tell us exactly what your car's setup is and also what you use it for, pretty sure we can adapt turbo features and remap to match it...

Thanks for your input Nick! Very Important

Get it with bit more boost... our optimal range of use its between 22 and 22 psi You'll get better performance, lower EGTS and even lower engine temperature

Yes running an Auber Instruments EGT gauge. I installed the new IC at the same time as the turbo and saw a drop of about 100C in EGT overall, I think that at the time I could not get it over 500C no matter how hard I pushed it so given that I changed both I can't isolate the effect of the turbo alone on EGT. When Jose sent me the new map the EGT did increase but so did the power. Currently, fully loaded for camping with 130 litres of fuel, 100 water on a long hill with it planted and doing 120+kmh it would reach 650C, back off slightly and its back to high 400 to low 500C. Cruising on the flat at 100kmh it sits on mid 300C. As Jose notes on his post I should try increasing the boost to 22psi which should drop the EGTs a bit further, so I'll do some tests on the weekend and let you know

Hi Jose, I didn't mean for you to fully disclose all specs. I was replying to one of your posts where you said you had different spec turbos for different applications? I was hoping you could elaborate a little further on this.

The vehicle is a D2 td5 auto, Ashcroft HD converter, alive re-map and egr delete. The remap I currently have is great and I was hoping to hold onto the investment already made with the alive tune. Therefore I was interested at turbo only at this stage. Cheers.

Thank Nick, sounds like your EGT's are under control.
