Do you work public holidays?

We are always online, when you own and run your own business you can chose to work these days. We don't have the overheads, we don't have to pay penalty rates to ourselves . I even took online enquiries whilst out on the boat fishing the other day. What's the point of having an online business if you don't monitor it Public holidays generate a lot of business, people are on the road, they break down and need stuff. Last week on a Saturday, 6pm we got an email, some one needed a perentie oil filter (as a shop he went to gave him the wrong filter), all shops were now shut, he needed his vehicle for work on Monday morning. We had stock on hand, and got him on his way. Satisfied customer, probably come back to us next time he needs parts. We can afford to take time off when it suits us. Besides who wants to be out on the roads with every one of the masses during these busy periods.

It was only a public holiday in Vic, other states working as normal.
