    Andrew,
I'd be up for the same arrangement as last time for the passenger's side tank.

I asked him about this recently in terms of the when of it all.

He said closer to Christmas, he is working on a few things that are taking precedent due to lower volume numbers of this but he is working on it from what he said!

G'day fellow Landy lovers! Sorry, long time no chat. To say I've been busy is an understatement!!

The good news is that I have started the LHS tank... I have previously said that I will have it done by Christmas, BUT things have changed some what and this is no longer possible. (admittedly I didn't say which Christmas

I comes down to the simple fact that our business has grown very quickly with the mountain bike racks and we are working flat out just keeping up, which is a good problem to have as it's paying the bills. With the defender tanks, we still haven't come close to covering our costs of the RHS tanks so it isn't feasible to stop making things that make us money to start something that has only cost us time and money. In hindsight I should've stuck to my plan and only made the RHS when I had 20 deposits.

    For those who haven't seen out bike racks to see why I've been busy check them out here;
Shingleback Rack - Shingleback Off Road

When I started the Defender tanks the bike racks weren't a thing, but they are now in a big way. We are currently finalising a better manufacturing process locally, so I will have more time for other products in the coming months.

I still believe that when I have both the RHS and LHS tanks to offer I will hopefully sell enough to get some return, so sorry again for taking so long, but I am still planning to finish the LHS, I just don't want to give a timeline as I've learnt that things can change in a big way.

I know it's crap that I've taken so long, I feel bad for dragging it out but I hope you all understand.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

Having seen both the tanks and bike racks in the flesh, Andy really makes quality stuff. I encourage anyone thinking about them to give them a go.

Could I ask for anyone’s feedback on purchasing this take for a water tank? I read people’s endorsements from when they’ve seen them, but I’d appreciate hearing from anyone that has purchased and used this as a water tank.

I’m looking for a water tank for showers and cleaning etc.

    Thanks in advance.

They seem to be doing the job for fuel, I’m about to install mine.

I have my fingers crossed that the passenger side will be developed so I can run water.

Defender 110 RH sill tank request from Peter Hanson Brisbane 0418541988

    Request for 110 sill tank.

I have always planned to make a tank for the whole defender range and still hope to. it costs several thousand dollars to develop a mould and I simply cannot do another one straight away, unless I could have enough people (20) willing to pay a deposit for a tank in which case I could start ASAP.

So let's use this thread for people to indicate if they are willing to pay a deposit for a tank once we reach 20.
Let's have a time of the end of April to get to 20.
Once we get to 20 then pay a deposit of $150.00
Then I can start building the mould, and about 6 weeks later you will get your tank.

So please only say that you want one if you will pay the deposit, otherwise it won't be fair on others.

Hopefully this poll works, just indicate if you would like a LH or RH tank. They both can be either diesel or water.

    Let's build some tanks!

    Cheers, Andrew.

I don't believe Andrew visits the site much due to him being very busy (his bike racks are giving him more business these days) ... U might be best to contact him via Facebook/Instagram, etc or send him a direct pm.

I believe he may have some still in stock... I'm still waiting for the LHS 110 versions but I can't see that happening for quite some time
