    ahh, nuts.

Thanks for the heads up, looking at the photos, I can see they are RH now.

any idea on a timeframe for LH? I require one within the next 3 months otherwise I'll have to start looking at other options.

    Cheers.

It’d be awesome if Andrew could go straight into making the LH Sill as I reckon he is developed a good product and considering the likes of ARB are now going with poly for all new long range tanks.

I think issues could be demand v time, money and effort in developing the mould, keeping it affordable, getting a return on his investment and do actual paying jobs to support his family.

From memory if 20 (I would have to search to confirm) buyers committed to purchasing a tank Andrew would prioritize the development of the mould.

For the RH tank I believe 10 people committed by paying a deposit get the mould underway, pretty sure more than 10 indicated they would purchase one.....hopefully Andrew has been flooded with orders which will give him confidence in developing the LH Tank.

I’m certainly up to supporting the LH tank as I did for the RH tank and laying a deposit.

Hopefully my RH tank is close to being shipped.

Andrew's email re my RH tank, indicated he was tanking deposits for a LH tank. I will be getting one eventually, unfortunately current back log of projects leaves me unable to commit.

Huh, I best go read my emails as I didn’t see the option for committing.

Finally got around to installing the Shingleback Sill Tank in my Defender 110. Just got to get around to filling it up to see what it holds....

I ended up installing a 2nd Filler just below the Passengers Door but using a 50mm size filler made it a bit more harder due to the short piece of hose required and the angles involved to mate them up, but I eventually got it to fit.... but I'm a bit concerned on the pressure I need to use to get the hose & fittings to mate up, so I'll be watching for any signs of fatigue on the filling point and the joint into the tank.... Time will tell though.... If I could have found a more flexible hose I think it would have made it easier but I went with what I could find....

Decided to go with a simple setup of just using a facet pump feeding back into the Main Tanks Breather hose as well as teeing the Aux Tank Breather hose into the Main Tank too. I decide not to install a Fuel gauge at this stage and will just switch the facet on and hopefully rely on the time it takes to pump 70ltrs across which should be around 30mins or so.....

Hmmm... had some problems with my initial fill of the sill tank... Wouldn't let me fill over 50ltrs which I now believe was due to fuel sitting in the aux tank's Breather hoses and preventing the tank from breathing. Will have to look into solving that soon....
