Who wants shingleback sill tank for a 110?

Ok, since I've offered the 130 sill tank for sale there seems to be a fair bit of interest in a sill tank for a 110. I have always planned to make a tank for the whole defender range and still hope to. it costs several thousand dollars to develop a mould and I simply cannot do another one straight away, unless I could have enough people (20) willing to pay a deposit for a tank in which case I could start ASAP.

So let's use this thread for people to indicate if they are willing to pay a deposit for a tank once we reach 20.
Let's have a time of the end of April to get to 20.
Once we get to 20 then pay a deposit of $150.00
Then I can start building the mould, and about 6 weeks later you will get your tank.

So please only say that you want one if you will pay the deposit, otherwise it won't be fair on others.

Hopefully this poll works, just indicate if you would like a LH or RH tank. They both can be either diesel or water.

    Let's build some tanks!

    Cheers, Andrew.

If you need numbers at the end of the month I could tweak
things to make a rh happen but was hoping to defer till late in the year.

Thanks Kyle, you did well to beat weeds to be the first!

And sorry forgot to clear up that the total price for the 110 will be the same as the 130 being $790.00.

I know it's only been a few days, but of all the people who expressed interest in the 130 while I was developing it, I've sold just the one tank, to a local bloke not even on the forum! I've done all the hard work creating a great tank, so come on you 130 owners, your turn!!

    Cheers, Andrew.

RH one for me for the moment. I'd like to say the LH side as well but I think I would be stretching it a bit atm.

    Hi,
Is there general information from the earlier 130 version I can check out?

    For example:
    - Does it at all interfere with clearance in any way?
    - Does it fit with APT or other rock sliders? (or any other underbody protection)
    - How much time and/or cost is involved in setting up the tanks with tubes, mounting and any other bits (for fuel & water)
    - Expected lifetime of the plastic/product

Cheers - it looks really good

APT sliders will be fine.....given similar design to Mulgo which I have fitted.
