I'd also be interested to know what the bore size will be. Could be a viable option for my camper trailer if the bore size fits over the parallel bearing hub.........

Without getting into engineer speak, in this case its important the BOTH align correctly to have the load evenly distributed. The wheels aligns with both the lugs and he centre bore, as recommended by the Australian engineers

David, my plan is to run the steelies on excursions to particularly rocky or difficult tracks when the wheels are likely to be damaged.
Plus I'll fit mud tyres but in the same size as on my Compos. The Compos will continue with KO2s or similar for longer outback expeditions or when a mud tyre is undesirable. When warranted I'll take a steelie as second spare so all of them will be the same size.

If I didn't have the Compos? I'd probably just keep the factory wheels for around town and run steelies for all offroad trips and in that case run KO2s.

    Cheers,
    Scott

I like your thinking! Sounds ideal

If only I had a bit more storage space. I'm already pushing it with 6 wheels and tyres in the garage!

Ha, you should try storing stuff for a couple of series projects as well😁😁😁.

Great news re the wheels. As recently as yesterday I was speaking to Tempe Tyres trying to source 18" wheels. I am very interested to see a pic and confirm offset, weight rating etc...
