Independent testing validates CEM fuel savings

Over the years, a lot of our customers report their vehicles “run better than new”, with Cost Effective Maintenance products. So, when we bought a new Isuzu DMax work vehicle, we figured it was perfect timing to have some independent testing done.

The DT80 Test is THE recognized benchmark for commercial diesel vehicles, and for us, the nearest federal government approved testing authority is operated by the Brisbane City Council. The procedure takes place on a dyno, and each replicate run involves full acceleration to 80kph three times, with the third one sustained at a steady 80kph cruise.

We tested the DMax with and without our Diesel Performance Pack, and the results directly attributed fuel savings (ranging from 4.7% to 7.8%) to use of the three products in this Pack.

While it’s easy to achieve a result like this on older vehicles (that need cleaning up), we’re very pleased to be able to report such great figures with a new vehicle, and on such a tough test.

For those interested, here is the link to the DT80 Test Report…

The Chem tech didn't do nothing for me either, so hence trying the CEM one.

The main benefit of products like Chemtech Diesel Power is to reduce algae growth in the tank.

I use it regularly for prevention of Algae.

    So far so good.
I haven't really noticed any power variation, however I use it in cheap diesel whenever I buy it.

Mine seems to run better on Shell normal diesel than an independent cheap stuff.

    Regards Philip A
