Hi Dave and yes they will but it would be a waste of time because of the way lithium batteries maintain a constant ( same ) voltage over 80% of their discharge cycle, meaning you would only get a change in the voltage reading as the lithium battery got below 20% SoC and if you have a half decent BMS, it should shut down the battery at around that 20%.

With lithium batteries, you need to be able to monitor Ah in and out, to be able to tell the capacity remaining.

I have a Lithium start battery & would like to keep an eye on it.

Hi Sandgroper and I have just received a reply from the BM2 manufacturer.

They say they are still working on the Android APP, it is just taking a bit longer than expected.

Hi Dave and again, I like to make money, but I think I would be ripping you off if I sold you a BM2 to monitor your cranking battery.

I have to be honest and say I am not sure how you would go about monitoring a Lithium cranking battery!
