AFL, womens' football league on track for 2017

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    Good on them!

I've always noticed an almost exact 50/50 gender split in the crowds at footy games.

I would love to see an elite womens competiton developed and played as a curtain raiser to the main game. It would be interesting to see if the womens comp kept the same mascots.

Being a Geelong supporter I know what my womens team would be called.

If the AFL get behind it the interest would be huge and they could stop worrying about what soccer was doing in this country.
