    Naval & Army fortifications, Moreton Island, WW2

    Plus a bit of history.

    Moreton Island Degfences WW2
    I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

    I note in the list of the men that served there is a "Hoot" Gibson,... there was a very well known motor sporting personality in Aus who went by that name,....don't know whether it's the same person though!

    Yeah, I noticed a Lt Crabbe. Back in the early 80,s there was an Admiral " Buster " Crabbe. Must check if it is one & the same.
