Parked on the site,in the way of other customers, demanding something they can't produce, may be breaking some sort of law.

If not they will rock up and invent one

im sure there is a civil law for it... which police dont do (they do criminal law)

otherwise, when the police rock you, you can always claim to be broken down and ask for a push and you been trying to explain that th whole time to the attendant.

Once they tell you to move on and you don't, that would be trespass?
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

    Anyways i hate atm fees.

    Cheers

That's exactly what they want you to do and will always guarantee that self serve checkouts will exist. I only shop at Coles and Woolies when I can't get to an independent when away from home. I use my local Foodworks for 90% of my shopping - if there's more than 1 person in a queue at a checkout, they open another one. I get my fruit and veg from the fruit shop around the corner and my bread from the local Bakery. I'll always try and keep my money in town.

Pump my own, only because there's no option not to in my town - but there are plenty of options not to in the food world, but a generally lazy and apathetic society is making sure those avenues get closed off slowly.

Everyone complains that the 2 majors have a duopoly on the market but they're all the same ones that keep going back week in week out to make sure they are. They are being duped as the Australian content becomes less and less - again, almost my entire grocery shop is Australian produce - it's out there, you just need to stop going to the big 2 to find it - they have no problems pushing Australian content off their shelves in favour of the home branded stuff made OS to fatten their profit line.

I don't know why so many seem to fall for this to be honest - most people want to do the right thing, but when it means changing their habits, it all becomes too hard.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

most mum n dad investors have shares in woolies or coles. or both.

i shop at IGA which is a SA brand of store.
problem is, most of the australian stuff is more expensive.
