I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Not that I want to be compared to Donald....

I was on a fisheries advisory committee that reported to the fisheries minister and the prime minister several years ago whilst I was still active at sea, at the time we were pushing to get our prawn fishery thru MSC certification which no prawn fishery in the world had achieved at that time. I got boarded by fisheries patrol and 1 of my nets was not compliant so I ended up in court.

Whilst in court the prosecutor is giving her speil to the judge and pushes for maximum fine , and the old judge turns to me and asks if its true that I was on the fisheries committee and advisor to the minister, Yes I says.

The judge turns to the prosecutor and says the best thing for any advisor to a government body is someone who has been accused of breaking the rules , and who knows the ways that people in that industry can break the rules.

The old beak still fined me the minimum but his words made sense after I got over the anger of being fined.

from what I see it wont matter if he cheats or not he looks like he will get plenty of votes.

    Cheers Ean
