no all good Bob, thanks for asking. I just reckon it's not really bushwalking when it cost $500 to do it and stuff is dropped in by chopper. The package tour world continues to take over. Soon there will be no dirt roads either. Let alone vehicles designed to drive on them. It's all the same story. Synthetic experience overtaking nature experience.

It cost millions to build to a rediculously high 'dry foot' standard. No bush skills needed to do the walk along the great Tasmanian board walk.
Bitumen across the Simpson would be a fair comparison I feel.
