Australia faces being a dumping ground for dirty more polluting vehicles that can't be sold elsewhere, after governments around the World pledge no more internal combustion vehicle sales, Norway by 2025, Denmark, Israel, the Netherlands and Ireland by 2030, California and the UK by 2035. The downside is the 352,200 Automotive and engineering trade workers that would be out of a job.

Solar overtakes wind to be the Queen of Australian renewables. The market share of renewable energy sources overtook the market share of fossil gas generation for the first time, with the market share of fossil fuel generation down to 75.6 % in 2020, down from 84.8 in 2017.
