The Zulu wars- road to Isandhlwana

I知 pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    Hello from Sherwood.

When I was working in South Africa some years ago I had the opportunity to visit Rorke's Drift and Isandhlwana a couple of times and Fugitives Drift the once.

Genuinely interesting places - like most battlefields, when you are standing on the spot the reality of how it all unfolded becomes a good bit clearer. Evocative places.

Blood River and Spion Kop which belong to other earlier and later conflicts are not that far away.

    Cheers,

    Neil
