allen 'HEX' keys

Bohndus for me, have had two sets of both Metric & Imperial for 20+ years, still going strong. I have also Metric & Imperial (Bohndus) folding sets which I carry in the vehicle.

with the exception of 2 sidchrome metric sets that I got dirt cheap and a few ring-ins, all my other hex key sets are either bondhus or unbrako

Lifetime warranty on the Repco stuff. Of the whole toolkit, including sockets and spanners, the only thing that has ever given way was screwdrivers (spinning in the handle). Back to any Repco shop, no receipt needed, replaced over the counter.

I like Repco stuff too, but there's one thing they do TERRIBLY - the small 3/8" allen and torx sockets suck awfully. The inserts are held into the socket body with the tiniest grub screw. A decent load is enough to lose the retention and the inserts fall out. I have tried Loctite bearing fit, epoxy, all manner of other glues and retaining compounds. I finally became fed up and have started welding them. If they break, they'll be replaced with something else.

I don't have any of their loose keys, but my Bondhus ones are excellent.
