A Projecta (not projector) 10A battery charger should be able to handle any 12V lead acid battery. It would help if you knew what the battery voltage was before you connected the charger and when it trips off.
Hi would anyone know why my projector 10,000 battery charger trips out after a few minutes when connected to my 105 ah deep cycle battery?
It did it along time ago on another deep cycle battery, I assumed battery was cactus and put charger away, tried again other day with another battery and it clicks off after a few minutes. Maybe thi charger isnt suited to deep cycle batteries (which I thought of just now whilst asking ?) Or could charger be cactus .

It was 11.8 volts
And trip maybe 5 minutes later, I was working on another project next to it when it tripped, reset it and wouldn't have been 2 minutes and tripped again.
was it a trip or an error?
13.0 volts for a few minutes when it trips
Sorry eevo there is only a button that pops out, no error as such.
The voltages are a bit on the low side but not out of what a 10A charger should be able to handle. I'm guessing that the button is a thermal circuit breaker and is faulty. It would be interesting to read the current output of the charger when it trips. With luck the breaker is replaceable with something similar.
