I've never been a fan of big toolboxes and have been using a cantilever toolbox I purchased 40odd years ago. Problem is there are other boxes with tools in and trays and tools stored in a multitude of different places.
Kincrome have an outlet shop in Scoresby which I often frequent, I usually end up buying something I didn't even know I needed.
Wandered in last week and they had Supertool (also a Kincrome brand) toolboxes on special. Some were damaged, some had missing keys, some were incomplete.
I took a punt and got a base unit still in a box. The box was wet but when I got it home and opened it all was OK although I did swap out the wheels because the ones provided were very cheap looking plus there was a sticker stating that the wheels were not covered by the Kincrome lifetime guarantee !
Tried to store my spanners and the drawers were very deep so there was a lot of wasted space, I know ........ I'd better go back and look at a top cabinet.
Found a top cabinet with a dent in the lid (nothing major) and the EVA foam is missing from the top section and no keys.
Base $50 top drawers $40
