When I found it at the Trash & Treasure a couple of others were interested but the break in the cast iron frame was putting them off. It had been repaired by someone using a strip of steel bent to match the shape of the casting and a few coarse threaded screws.
It started at $80, I went back a couple of times and pointed out the break in the frame and the price eventually dropped to $50 but there I am thinking to myself "do I really need this".....
Just as I was about to leave the market I went back again and the seller told me I must be interested as I'd been back several times. I explained I didn't need it, couldn't justify buying it and didn't have any room for it then offered him $40 and he accepted.
No wonder I can't move in the garage or shed !
