Always interesting looking through what he has. I bought a Stanley brace and some bits off him a while ago, and no I have never used them though they pride of place in the shed ;-)

Hi Simon,
I have a few braces & lots of bits, they do get used .....
I use spokeshaves & drawknives in another hobby, making rocking horses and managed to get a compass plane a while back (the sole can be adjusted to be convex or concave). It's not complete but one day I'll be able to use it in anger.
There are also a few Stanley Yankee screwdrivers in the shed but getting bits for them is difficult.
My wife seems to think I'm a hoarder !
