    Milling BIS500, Cutter Inserts

Chasing a company to discuss inserts.....or maybe a member that has machined BIS500

I need to machine an angle onto plate and

drill 20.5mm hole and counter bore 35mm x 16mm deep. Lots and lots of holes.

    Thoughts on brand of tips.

Difficult material. Contact Iscar in Sydney. They do specific inserts for Bisalloy. Got good solid heavy machine tools in tight condition? You will need them.

Been in contact with Bisalloy and they recommended Iscar.

Mill is far from top end but is handling the job, just going through inserts.

Oh, we also found the BIS link.
