    Bead Breaker ?

I found this tool in a box of parts I was given (picture attached).

When the lever is pressed the two curved parts move apart. The toolbox was fitted to the roofrack of a Series II but I can't see the tool being strong enough to break the bead on a Series wheel.

Is it a bead breaker ??

IT is infact a bead breaker, but it is not complete, although the missing bits could easily be supplemented with basic other tools.

IT may not break a tubeless bead but it will break a relatively fresh tubed bead.

missing is the knockometer to seat it into the bead and a foot resting tool to anchor it as you push down on the handle to stop it leaning over.
