G/day Landieman
the dimensions from a 1995 Midway camper are...
120cm wide
48cm high
210cm long
Mine has the kitchen mounted on the rear tailgate which is 40cm deep...so this makes the storage length reduced to 170cm...
cheers smally
If you do, can I ask a favour. I need to know the dimensions (height and width) of the storage space under the bed. The available length would be good too but I'm guessing that'll be dependent on what's hung on the tail gates.
We're looking to buy a Trak Shak for an up and coming trip and I need to know these dimensions for some storage containers we're building for the truck that will tow it.
Cheers, LandieMan
P.S. If you have a Trak Shak you'd like to sell (prefer near Melbourne) please let me know too.

Hi LandieMan,
I don't own a Trakshack, but I have two friends who do, and one is for sale. Unfortunately we are on the opposite side of the world ( just about ), and can't help with your purchase. However, I can offer a word of advice and caution.
Trakshacks are now made or assembled from parts made in CHINA. The early made in China versions had a lot of problems.
Try to establish where your potential purchase was made. Sorry I cannot recall the changeover date. ( I think it was the early 2000's ) Both the Trakshacks my friends have were made in Australia, and are great. Well made good quality gear, with stacks of space. They are huge inside.
Hope you are successful in finding one.
Thanks for the heads up. I was aware there were issues with some of the later ones. I looked at one recently had rust showing thru' under the paint already and it was only a couple of years old. I'm OK to fix up and couple of bits but this had big sections of the paintwork that would need replacing.
There are a few advertised around the country at the moment so unless one comes up near us here in Melbourne/Gippsland in the next week or 2, we'll hit the road and head off north and buy one as we go. We've only just bought the truck...
Thanks again for the advice.
Cheers, LandieMan
You could contact Graz on here via PM.He has an Aussie TrakShak and can tell you the years to avoid.
