Have seen some track closures (to camper trailers eg. Dry Creek, Mericumbene and others) due to damage to "eco-drains" by long drawbars, I would have a short as possible drawbar (see army trailers) for manoeuvering on narrow tracks and climbing over eco drains, backing up is not a problem, IMO, Regards Frank.
I agree with Frank. Lots of benefits to a shorter drawbar. I think mine is 1500mm which gives me enough room for a big tool box on the front and no dramas with reversing.

The one i had ordered was a basic off road trailer with out brakes ect , The one that i received had brakes shockers a hitchmaster hitch boat rack rear slide out draw beside the kitchen a side slide out draw oh and wired for 12v with a anderson plug and the premium tool box on the front,

We bit the bullet & put a deposit down on an Off-road madcamper 12 from Mad About Campers!!:BigThumb:
It's similar to what's in the photos, only it comes with sunraisas, and has "wings" on either side (with gas & fuel holders of course :)) and it has heavier duty springs. I'm getting the polly block hitch and sunroom floor as extras.
We were only wanting to pay $6k, but you know how these things go, it's come in at just over $7k. It only takes a couple weeks to put together, however, we probably won't finish paying it off till December :(.

ours has proved quite serviceable but....
just remember its not top quality canvas and will benefit from cleaning, and a bit more care and from only putting away when completely dry and also from being kept out of the sun when not in use :)
also ... an initial "seasoning", or thorough wetting prior to use will swell the threads and help ensure on-going water tightness
