I took the tent off the patriot and installed a Rhino Rack Platform.
We often prefer to sleep in Swags so I have made tent removable.
We can refit onto of platform when needed.
Losing it will save about 100kgs.
Heres an updated pic of my camper with an appropriate tow rig

Here's my rig. We've done 70,000kms around Australia in the past 4 years. Great off-roader and bush camper.

Nice looking rig Pete.
Can you enlighten me on your setup you have for a stone guard please? I've seen these and think they would be better than the Stone Stomper or whatever it's called exactly. I've done some searching, but can't find any real info on them. Any info you could put forward would be excellent thanks.
The other thing, have you done a trip report at all on your way around? Would love to see where you've been We're not far off doing similar.
Hi, Marcus
It's a Stone Stomper. The website is Stone Stomper Stone Guard | Stone stomper. Worth it's weight in gold! After many kilometres of gravel roads, there's only a very small amount of fine chips in the front corners of the van and none at all on the front storage pod. I find it keeps the van cleaner as well, as the dust is sent out sideways and under the van. I did a write up about it on our travel blog at Kimberley Kruiser – Stone Stomper | Kruising Around Australia
We travel about 8-9 months a year and have maintained a blog at Kruising Around Australia | Exploring Australia In Our Kimberley Kruiser that we print off as a coffee table book every now and then, in case the blog goes down. We're now on our tenth book.
Cheers
Pete
