The wife has decided that although she will not camp she will possibly caravan.
So we are after a cheap caravan for us and the 2 kids (1 yr and 2 1/2 yrs old).
The caravan is to be put on a rural block of land near Grafton and used for holidays. Apart from getting the caravan to Grafton it will not see any road use for a number of years. The caravan will probably live in a shed when not in use, or under a tarp.
As we are looking at old and cheap caravans is there any big no no's or hot tips of what to look out for and what to avoid?

If its not going to be moved why not a transportable unit. Keep an eye out for Ex caravan park unit or simular

seems a bit silly towing the thing in and out of a shed every time,,
plonk it on bricks,
build an annex,
put a safari roof on it.

It may end up on bricks with an annex.... but for now the thoughts were putting it in the shed for security and reducing the hassle with the local council.
Mind you the caravans I like are 25 ft long and built in the 70's so it may have to be transported anyway![]()
