    D'oh!

We are looking at running a Tyredog TD1000 4 sensor system on the van, the only problem is the range, its over 8 metres, and while there is data to suggest it will go out to 10, I'm not sure they have tested it with a van,
I was sitting there contemplating this when Mrs Pedro asks what the problem was, I explained about the distances involved and she said,
"why not run the monitor at the back of the car? its audible too isnt it?

    Hi Pedro,

Below is an option that may well do the trick, 8 sensors along with a signal repeater so it works well for the tug as well as the caravan and the price is not bad.

    Cheers,
    Terry

finally got to take the van and BSL out for a spin,,
Attached the Monitor up behind the review mirror,,
    not elegant but workable,,
instantly registered the Vans rear passenger and front passenger pressures,, and nothing on the right side,,
then after a left(?!?) turn both right sides kicked in, and all 4 stayed locked in till we returned home.

The machine really needs a test button as I have no idea what the alarm sounds like, once I am confident of its alarm and connection capability I will move it to the glass on the back door,, there is no need to see if the pressures go up or down 1 psi
