    boat loader

Planning to make a boat loader for my cub camper, anyone got any ideas or plans? Need to remember the camper is a hard floor off the back jobby. Basically want to just load the boat off to one side, motor will be on a swing away bracket like a spare wheel carrier.

Couldnt get the thing to work, gas struts were fighting one another.
Still have all the struts(brand new) that wont ever get used.

Yeah that looks a bit tricky those massive struts. Have been looking at heaps of pics and am now even thinking of a slide on/off job by that just basically bolts to roof rack and has a winch to get it on and off. I think rhino sell one.

Actually don't think the rhino one will work because it slides off and if I store stuff under the boat I can't slide it off, still need to lift it over, bugger

I tried one at the camping show, effortless to lift/fold with the dinghy intact if need be.Its a very good way of doing it.
I wasnt able to creat the same fulcrum angle on my trailer as theirs, which you may also have difficulties achieving.
If you do go this way give me a yell about the struts,we can sort something out.

    Boat loader

You do know CUB make a boat loader for their campers? ? Had one fitted to my Spacematic.

pending how old your CYB is you will have provision on the side of the camper to mount the factory rack in the form of two bolts on the drivers side of the camper.

    cheers, Chris

Yeah I know about there's, but it is a slide off jobby, I need to store stuff under the boat so it needs to flip over.

Looks like CUB have a new design. Appears to be a flip over design.

    Cheers, Chris
