    in QLD you dont need an a semi licence for this dog trailer.
    i have been thinking of this for a few months (i used to drive with dog trailers a few years ago) and think it would be a good idea but it could be expensive hence the reason the caravan makers go with what they do

    Hi,

    Yes, caravan makers are still using wood, I do not see them interested in a dual axle with complex steering and linkages or composite materials.

    Steerable front axle is duable using LR parts, I reckon. I have been looking at some builds with 4 link suspension, panhard or Watt's linkage and air bags, but the shipping of parts from US is a big handicap.
