If you look at the link for stoneguards, you'll see ours, it's the 3rd one down left side, we have since improved on this, alsio a rear window guard is a must, this is our Stone guard now and you'll see little white squares on our back window, that's our rear window guard, just cut some perpex to size and used Cliplock from 3M to hold it on.

We have the same hitch as Goingbush, simple, easy and long lasting, just about every trailer parts shop have them in stock, which is important if you are in a remote area.

Interesting pic.....wonder if there is more to the story....I'm sure there are pics of all hitches failing

    I'll be keeping my DO35

My mate put me into the DO35....funny enough he has a single axle trackmaster, yours is only the second single axle I have seen

    I've yet to see another

I think most people that are going to spend those $$ on a van want a shower and toilet so go for the tandem option .

I dosent look it but the single axle is actually 6" narrower than the Jayco wind up we had before, so thats the bonus for me.

(Im sure the Do35 is sorted now, that was v1 )

Stone stomper is the go, works better than the rest and stops the majority of dust getting inside your van.

Plus it stops 99% of broken rear windows in your tow vehicle which is quite common with other stone guards.

I really like the idea of the stone stomper. I wonder how much it would cost to make one up yourself.

Do any of you CT owners run a full width leading flap on the trailer to protect the axle, suspension links, dampers etc etc.

I was crawling around under the offroad boat trailer I built a few years ago for a mate.

The axle, upper and lower links are pretty peppered
Im soon to start on a CT chassis for another mate and wondering about incorprating fixation points for a full width piece of conveyer say a metre or so infront of the axle. Thoughts?
