Thread: I think I just bought a Trak Shak

Good luck . They are a nice set up, what year was it built? I know there have been some concerns over the build quality of those built overseas.

It's new, yes that's why I said wish me luck, I have been equivocating for some time because I haven't been able to find a good second hand one for a reasonable price and the new one was just too expensive and there have been some quality questions. But I finally took the plunge and got a good deal. So I hope I haven't just made an expensive mistake.

But I just haven't been able to find another one which meets my needs as well as the design of these do. I love that it can sleep 4 in proper beds off the ground and that the whole thing can be set up ready to sleep and cook undercover in 5 minutes without fiddling around with lots of fiddly poles ropes and spreaders etc. I also like that it can carry 9 Jerry cans instead of a built in water tank which makes the water supply easier and safer. I also love the boat loader set up and solar panel set up.

Well the beauty is since it is new, you can get any issues sorted under warranty, if any arise. I agree totally with you, a great set up. My mate has an older one and he loves it.
