Good time to do it is after it's been raining, or damp whether.
The lichen becomes soft & comes off alot easier.

With that much Lichen I don't think you have much choice but to carefully use a pressure washer

I honestly have no idea.... I just know what will happen if you pressure wash a caravan that's likely sealed up with 30+ year old mastic

I'd probably try reducer/thinners/ecalyptas/cutters/etc .... before I'd pressure wash. It's going to be a massive job if you have to do it by hand though.

I have used diluted Bleach and a brush

if you are going to replace all the window seals,,
does it matter?

how things change,,
the 70's vans were all formica surfaces,
the 90's were all varnished timber,
the '10s are all formica surfaces,

I think the concern is the seal of the window frame to the body, not the glass to the frame.

Not in this case. I'm thinking of towing it with the W109 Merc.

I thought about doing that to mine for a second or 2 but I thought people may call me a word that sounds a bit like 'tanker'...
