    converting 2a into trailer

After we pulled apart our 2a, it was full of hidden bog and way too much rust to savage. We were given a series 3 so made the decision to cut down the 2a and make a camper trailer from it. The parts saved will go as donor parts to the series 3.

Our issue is where to cut the chassis and how to create the drawbar. Has anyone done the conversion with a land rover chassis rather than a custom one and where did they cut?

We will be putting a storage box on the front as well

    One on Gumtree

    G'day Randomme

There is one currently for sale on Gumtree. There are a couple of photographs taken at different angles so you can get some idea of how someone else has done it.

Oh be sitting down when you look at the price!

I'll move this to the trailer section where it is a bit more relevant.

Thank you (and thanks for moving it )

The one on Gumtree and the picture posted is similar to what we have planned, it was just the draw bar that we had differing opinions on. I have read through some threads and we have more of an idea of what to do now

    Thanks Heaps
