    James Baroud Roof Top tents

    Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with James Baroud Hard Case rooftop tents? Looking at a range of options for a tent so would appreciate advice if you have one of these or have even seen one up close.

    Thanks J

I have the Explorer Evolution and love it. I had the ARB Simpson and after a while was sick of setting up and packing it up with all the canvas that you needed to tuck in. It was good and served me well for 5 odd years i had it, but this is so much better. 1 min to set up, 2 mins to pack up, its really handy if you're in a spot for a few days and want to explore as its quick to pack down.

Check out the South African made Bundutec roof top tent, looks like a good thing and is in the price range of the others if not a bit cheaper considering all the bells and whistles it has.

Well Terry that's very flash but at $4K with no annexe etc to easily get changed in or dry yourself in before getting into the tent... not for me.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

From memory and I have not looked at pricing of late I think the James Baroud is not cheap nor does it have an awning.

Yes it's very flash Vlad, some are inclined towards flash and others are attracted to trash. ....
