Registered as 750kg. Suspension rated to 1600kg and has electric brakes. I have never put it over a weigh bridge so estimate is hard to make. I did make the lid and all of the sheet work out of aluminium. Ball weight is around the 80kg as it is well balanced with water at front and spares at back and storage spread out around the trailer. It is also easy to tow behind my td5 defender. Follows well and reverses well. Apologies for not giving an exact answer.
I just had to go and check out this novel unit, and I wasn't disappointed.
A very solid bit of off-road kit, built from scratch by the current owner. As you can see from the specs, there's a fair bit of 'hard-earned' and a ton of effort that has gone into this trailer.

Not a problem.
Total setup takes approx. 1/2hr. This is the full tent, side awnings and kitchen.
Pack up time normally takes me around the 40mins. The extra time is getting the canvas folded and back into the bag neatly so it is easier to set up next time.
I guess the first couple of times take a bit extra until you get your head around the sequence.
I built this unit with the express plan of going to a place and staying for 5 to 7 days, having at least 3 kids in tow, having a standing area to change and having a reasonable kitchen set-up.

I should also mention another setup option that I have used when I am on my own.
Quite simply pop the top and let it open up to around 45degrees. Fold down the hoop from the lid (normally supports canvas) and use this to support the lid to the edge of the trailer (Simple tie down). Pull the ladder out from on top of the mattress and bingo you can hop into bed.
Last time I did this I threw a tarp over the top for a bit of extra protection. The tarp I have is long enough to setup over the kitchen and only requires 4 poles. I'll throw the tarp into the deal as well if you want it.
Photo attached shows my last trip. Sadly only from one side though.
Also fitted 2 new safety chains and turn buckles yesterday.
I have received a deposit on the trailer. Thanks to all who took the time to view my post for this trailer. If all goes well she is off to a new member of our mad LR loving ranks who is awaiting delivery of a new 90.
