i have that type on my trailer (is a tipper) after the original setup let go dragging it loaded behind madge up the hill into yarraman with a semi up my butt ...
he was as unhappy as me :p and i definitely weren't a happy chappy!
will absolutely be investigating something like that as having the top pop is not something i want to experience again
Doesn't look to bad behind the wife's disco which will be the primary tow tug i imagine

Look at your rear axle loading, minus weight of people, fuel, and whatever else is in the back of the D1, that leaves you with a legal ball weight.
With a caravan around 1300kgs(?) you wont need a lot on the ball.
How did it tow home?
