    Pre-Shower Setup

When we were doing our shakedown cruise in the van, a friendly banana bender (tautology?) suggested spraying the (fibreglass) shower with Rainex before first use. Apparently its like doing windscreens - keeps dirt off and promotes runoff for good maintenance.

Any +ve or -ve comments? If OK, should be diluted? Any damage to gloss seal on shower walls/floor? etc.
    Cheers

Hmm, our fibreglass shower/toilet cubicle is over 25 years old and no sign of any "dirt" or mushrooms ,,

and as a former user of rainex,, its only good for so long anyway!

    normal "maintenance" is enough,,,

    pics of the van?
    or have I done that??

Yes pics done some time ago, and comments about towing a brick etc passed.
Now I suppose you want me to find the link/s!

ooooh, I like those . The veranda's an excellent idea for those of us that want to just sit and relax.
Can I ask, is it hard to set up the front?

Easier, and quicker to set up than the side annexe - and a great conversation starter.
I also feel it is more stable than the annexe in the wind and less likely to get ripped off - although I would not like to be the one who tests it out, especially with that balloon effect in the "ceiling".
It is even an AUS design concept!!!!! Been around for 3 -4 years now. Piazza

The later models (mine included, cos I asked for it) have a longer drawbar so the towhitch is not hard up against the veranda front fence. I understand was also extended so any vehicle, including one with rear bumper tyres, could hitch up and move it in an emergency eg fire in caravan park.

I suppose it's like waxing the car before going 4WDing, less mud sticks and it's easier to clean. Then you have to wax it again.
