Hubs

I have said several times before over the years to be careful if buying LR studs to replace ALKO ones as the ALKO large ones have a larger Knurled/spline diameter than the LR ones, so you have to redrill anyway.
It is best to get blank hubs and have them drilled to the LR stud size.

2 If fitting LR mags you have to use LR studs as there are no nuts available in Imperial.

3 NA here but D2/D3 wheels are VERY difficult to fit to ALKO parallel drums. I needed to use adaptors from UK.
There is a thread from about 3or 4 years ago.

Mick, I replied to your pm but AULRO chucked a wobbly, so I'm not sure if you got it.
I have 8 D1 mags and 4 RRC mags. Andrew has given me a link to a supplier in Brisbane
I will have to upgrade the axle and maybe add flares to the guards.
It may be simpler to stay with the Ford 16" wheels.

As you do not gain any commonality advantage, I think you maybe right Ian. You even have the 17" (steel) option.

The only advantage I would gain is the ability to use LT tyres.
