Well it passed no issues, weight came in at 1100kgs so an empty D II should be fine[bigwhistle] towed fine I will do a test run once I wire up the prodigy brake controller, may have found a spot on right hand side of steering column there is a recess that it will fit in with some mods to the panel, gees a new car and already looking at putting holes in it :unsure:

Well put the trailer through its paces with 2 ton of dead weight on way up to Brisbane and bought back a Nissan X trail on trip back to Sydney, on way up it was a night trip so bought speed up to the legal limit then one section went over to see that things stayed civil.
Happy to say it towed great did a sway test on empty section just in case in the future have to avoid something again all good and will have to say the twin turbo D5 is a great tow vehicle maintained the speed limit on the hills and on way up did 15ltrs per 100 kms.
did 13ltr on return leg probably could have done better if I sat on 90 kms/HR.
