Anyone know what this thingy, in the ceiling, is or does? Attachment 154937 It has a 0-3 dial, says "Auto Rain Sensing", "Push Auto/Pull Manual", "In/Out" and a cold to hot temperature dial.
I didn't get any manuals whatsoever[bigsad]

How embarrasing. I just found all the manuals for everything in a secret drawer. :oops2:

By now you will have worked out that is the air Discharge Diffuser for the Air Con. ie. 1-3 Fan speeds. Thermostat. Push Pull Fan, cycles fan on Heat or runs Continuously on Cooling.


I guess the Auto Rain do da could auto fold/roll an Awning or such or even bring up a visual reminder that your dry washing is still on the line [smilebigeye]or maybe there is a damper above the unit outside that closes in conjunction with the IN/Out switch. ie. motor is reversible to introduce Fresh air or Exhaust Air.

It's called a Fantastic Vent. The lid is motorised & will close if it rains & the fan is in auto. Plenty of manuals on the web. Enjoy.
