It's not a Franklin, Pedro. It's a Viscount Duralvan.
I have a photo where you can roughly work out what the sticker was and, yes, you can get reproductions.

Yep a Viscount this time Pedro, I'm not brand oriantated when it comes to old vans - I like them all. 😊
Based on the outline of where the old stickers were, this one is probably the one it had on it.
VISCOUNT DURALVAN YELLOW LOGO - VISCOUNT - CARAVAN DECALS
There is a guy on the Classic Caravan forum 3D printing a lot of th old cast badges too. Including this one - not sure if mine ever had these, but they look good.
Well, it begins....
The Franklin is officially no longer mine and will leave the driveway this weekend to be replaced with the Viscount. I only have 5 weeks to make it ready for Corowa so it will be nose to the grindstone every spare minute now.
Will have to work out a list of priorities, but Beds, electrics and water/loo will be the highest. Anything else after that will be a bonus.
Started the big spend today - Fridge, loo, all plumbing for the entire van, deisel heater, and Victron 100/50 solar MPPT reg. OUCH!!!!
HWS is also sorted and if Ranga ever decides to send me his account details I might even pay him for it... 😆
Hopefully by this time next week, the posts will be coming thick and fast!
I would never try and sway your priorities,,, [bigwhistle]
but maybe wheels and brakes first?
though your way,, at least when the wheels fall off you'll have somewhere to **** yourself--- [thumbsupbig][bigrolf][tonguewink]
I hear you and that side was sorted before I moved it. Wheels and tyres on it are brand new, brakes work fine, although they are only cable over run units. Wheel bearings and spring pivots all regreased. All new exterior and rear lights put on and working, new hitch installed, although I just bought a DO35 for it, so if I fit that, I'll need to do the electric brake conversion now as well. Time, time, time... Mechanically I could tow it up your way right now Pete, would just need power and a bucket when I get there as it sits... 😁
I have dropped the original wheels off at the tyre joint to have the old rubber stripped off them, then the rims are off to the sand blasters. As I still haven't decided on a colour, that may stop me from getting the originals back on before Corowa but will see how I go.
Part of me wants to make the rims and stripe green as the original colour beneath the yellow is a dark green, and the annex is green too, but I do prefer yellow which is on it now... Thinking maybe a nice bright 70's yellow - Absinth Yellow would be my first pick...
