On another forum I have seen photos of damage to fibreglass from having panels stuck directly on top with no clearance. Not a problem for older metal vans but something to think about.

Sun had gone down by the time I got home so no heat readings sorry. All I know is that I’ve had the fridge running for 2 days and the system is keeping up easily. By the time I get home batteries are fully charged and beer is cold. That’s all I need. Homestar's new home?Homestar's new home?

Another small win tonight. the new shelf/cupboard/TV stand is completed far enough to get the TV working. There will be cupboards below the TV and another shelf above, but again, may not have time to complete it by Corowa. Love the shelf rail - makes it look very 70's. 👍

All timber will be stained a light Maple colour and varnished. TV is running off 12 volts, I don't think I'll need the inverter at all in this van to be honest.

Kicking back watching telly now, eating tea and drinking beer. Once I get the bed sorted I won't need to go back inside! 👍😁

Does that mean that you can’t watch TV in bed or am I looking at it wrong?

No, not from bed - may install a second set for that but there's no way of viewing this one from there. This one will also pivot so it can be watched from outside too, but the bracket won't be in for that for Corowa. The vans changed a bit - this is to the right as soon as you come into the van where that couch was - there's a toilet there now and room for a shower when I get around to it.

Thanks, hopefully get more done on that shelf today but this morning I'm doing a proper cleanout of the cupboards this morning and found some cool stuff.

Do you think a 30 YO bottle of blue loo stuff would still be ok?

Now the gold. Took all the plates, etc out to wash them. Tupperware beakers with lids, a full seof anodised cups and all sorts of other goodies. These will all remain in the van and be used.

Here's something I bet isn't commonn these days. Still in the box and shoukd work but the battery was still in at and has done some minor damage to the terminals, but nothing that's a deal breaker.
