Ha ha, you can see straight through me Pete...

I have bought Mick's 1970 Viscount Duralvan off him - 18 or 19' depending on where you measure it from. Here's some pics outside and in. Plans are pretty simple - clean and tidy up inside - it is in remarkable condition. Outside will eventually get a full respray and that's about it. 12 volt system will be a step up from the Franklin with around 400 watts of solar into around 300 or 400AH of batteries. Will be ditching the gas fridge in favour of an Engle like yours too. Shower and toilet where the couch is behind the kitchen area.

Outside - wheels and tyres have been replaced.

Inside - currently an 8 berth

A few more showing some detail - it is in very good condition.

All cushions have been face down for 30 years and pattern and condition is excellent. This is the area that the ensuite will be going in.

Factory hot water from 1970 - only electric, so not sure what to do here. You can see by the timber, etc all in great condition.

Very lucky to have been able to buy this and put it back on the road. Will hopefully have it moved from where it is by Chrissy, but I'm fast running out of time.

Oh yes, it's one of the biggest reasons we wanted something a bit bigger was somewhere to spread out a bit and read a paper, etc. This will work very well.

Yvonne wasn't thrilled with the colour scheme inside but with the cushions revered there's quite a bit of colour in there. By the time we add a few things, it will be fine. I'm not painting this one inside so she better get used to it...

Will see - this one is a LOT lower to the ground than the Franklin so not sure if it will make the turn into the last track up there. Once I've towed it around a bit and get an idea of when it drags its bum, I'll have a better idea, but if I was a betting man, I'd say yep.
