This is turning into a mission!
As far as a caravan goes, cost of a decent off-road 1 is above budget & I really don't want to tow 1. Just a personal thing.

As far as hire, I would have to drive for 11 hours to pick 1 up, not happening.
BTW The Doomadgee Roadhouse will happily hire you a car for a quite unreasonable price but we don't do camper trailers.

So, we continue to look, make phone calls etc.

At least I have agreement for SWMBO this is a good idea.
Yes, I see that the Black Series is a certain company, still investigating it because it has every thing we want but have gone a bit cold on that brand.

All that canvas comes at a cost of setup and packing up time but with 7 kids that is a given anyway.
Still have it and should sell it
It is the same config as the one posted in the link .
To set the trailer based setup is less than 20 minutes , If you want to set up the rest of the canvas awnings walls ect that is where the time is ideal for extended stays in one place .
We have done overnight stuff with our`s no prob but i much prefer the Goldstream for just the 2 of us now
I have only ever put the awning up once on ours so i have all the extra walls ect never been used.
A couple of pics with all the canvas set up not mine but stolen of the net but is the same trailer as mine

    Here's an option.
Buy a descent trailer (ex army Haulmark springs to mind) and fit your own camper top on it.
Fit it out with what you want. If you want a kitchen, fit a swing out kitchen to it.

There are lots of camper trailer builds for inspiration here.

Hope I'm not jumping in too late in the day here, but I am in the market for a camper trailer, and this mob seem to have the goods. EZY TRAILER, check them out. I'm yet to sight one of their trailers.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I think this would be perfect you. Great off road camping trailer. Very versatile as the tent is fully interchangeable allowing for over 6 different setups. You can set up one room if staying for a day or all four rooms if staying longer. All poles in the main tent area are permanently attached to the trailer; this allows you to set up 2 rooms pretty quickly. It is very light with lots of storage space. If you would like more information just PM one of us. 5.jpg 2.JPG 3.JPG
