Wow that spare tyre is not going to fall off is it! I have a similar amount of space available on my trailer.
However, with the system I bought, I only need a reinforcing plate and two - not sure what diameter bolts, washers and nylock nuts - that go through holes that are 70 mm apart. There you go one spare tyre all hooked up and out of the way. No welding required. Oh, plus a hole drilled through the back of the trailer so the crank handle can pass through into the winch winder.
