Chasing info on Mars, Ezytrail & MDC rear fold camper trailers

I have been considering buying a camper trailer and like the ease of setting up a rear fold.

Has anyone had a rear fold MARS or EZYTRAIL or MDC rear fold camper trailer that they can tell me about. Mainly want to know about reliability and anything that need changing. What they are like to tow over corrugations and hilly terrain.

Don't bother recommending other types of trailers I am only interested in rear fold.

    Thanks in advance.

Son had a Mars, bought maybe seven years ago. Used it at Wombat a couple of times Towed fine, well built, but a PITA to set up short term. Could be better these days. He would certainly consider another one. The price is right.

I'll go along with that. Now, more than ever, supporting Oz stuff makes sense. I'm trying to avoid Chinese ( being an iPhone user I guess I'm a hypocrite. But my iPhone is 4 years old. ).

We sold our rear fold as it took too long to setup for an overnighter. We bought an older Tvan which is lighter and quicker to set up. It still takes a bit long to set up for an overnight stop.

I'm pretty sure those 3 brands of CT are chinese made. Australian owned companies, importing chinese built campers to their specifications.

I would love a Cub and have hired them before but with what is out there in my price range I would have to get one from 97-03.
For the same money I can buy a brand new Mars or MDC.

We had a bad harvest this year and have less than half our capacity of grain to transport this year so I have to watch what I spend. Also because it will be a quiet year I might be able to get away more. The plan is to pick an area to explore for a long weekend, take the trailer, set it up and spend all day 4x4ing and not have to setup and break up camp each day.

Correct Vern all chinese trailers flat packed into Australia and assembled here. Mars have assembly plants in Melbourne and Brisbane, not sure where the others are located.

From what i read, Mars also have plants in china, so to me thats better than just buying them from a chinese manufacturer.

Anyway, whats your budget if you don't mind me asking?
