Sounds like dave was on the money with it being a genset trailer. I'm looking forward to towing it to see what it tows like. Heading up to Fraser in a couple of weeks, if I get it going and reg by then I might think about taking my trail bike up on it and give it a test run. I look forward to setting it up as a camper. My brother has been at me for ages about getting it off me. He wanted to cut the draw bar off and put on an A frame so he could mount a fridge on there. I didn't like that idea.
hey matt, mate i may have 2 rims and tyres (matching yours) if you are chasing some more spares;)
I've got a photo somewhere of a generator on one of these trailers that i'll have to post later ;)
Ok, here is the pic I have of a generator trailer in vietnam. looks like a modified worshop trailer. maybe this is a later generator trailer??

I think what you read as L5T is actually 1.5T, but I don't think these are a one and a half ton trailer. The standard trailer if I remember is 1/4 ton and the bigger one with brakes and bigger wheels is half ton.
I haven't seen one with shocks, but I've never looked under a workshop trailer.
The current generator trailer has two axles.

oops
thats the older version of the one i was talking about... (didnty know there was an older version of what I was describing)
picture that same trailer but with the genny having an extendable light stand on it with 2 flood lights at about 1000w a piece and your on the money.
The newer ones look well, newer being a galved chassis with checker plate on the deck amd angled wheel arches. the genset is also set up to be forklift unloadable..
