True, but then a mob in Brisbane make a u-beut non-rattling tow attachment for the standard ring (replaces a towball like the Treg does). Costs ... ooh ... about an arm and a leg.
I'm impressed with how the Treg fits the trailer Tank - is that the standard plate on the end of the drawbar?

Steve, yes it is, I bushed it with a steel sleeve 38mm O.D. x 30mm I.D.. I used the smaller of the Treg hitch,(3000kgs) fitted a spacer behind the bush and drilled and fitted a large split pin, had to grind about 1.5mm off end of treg shaft as it just touched the plate inside the drawbar. I didnt wish to cut that plate as I intend using the centre chassis tube to store liquid. The heavier duty Treg has a 38mm shaft, but the shaft is too long so I would have had to shorten it and have a new thread turned and it would have cost more to have that done and dearer to buy the H/Duty Treg.
The whole lot cost $250 for the Treg and $40 for the bush and spacer, Regards Frank.

that looks really nice, pretty in a masculine sort of way.
definately a suitable conversion.
silly question did you take photos of the bush and spacer as you did it.

Good one frank,
and you can put it back to normal if you need to.

Hey just a by the by Q, you had much tick trouble down your way this year.
It has been surprisingly quiet for us up here, about 4 paralysis ticks to date from the 4 dogs, a far cry from the 30 odd per dog per day last year.
