This may be a bit out there, but.....
At highway speeds, with the airflow over the rangie roof and the height of the boat, I wonder how much aero lift force the boat will generate and reduce the ball weight?
It could be enough to require an excessive static load for stability at speed, or some form of aerodymic dampening. Normally a towed load will travel in the dirty airspace behind the vehicle, but with the boat proud and a single axis to pivot on, I wonder what the cumulative effect will be? I would also increase with speed. It may seem fine at 100kph, but the one time you hit 140 on an overtake and the next thing you know.......
Love the outside the box thinking and hope you can make it work.

Great job. Externally accessable storage is what I have on my 110 and is very handy, essential on a camper trailer IMHO.
I have a track trailer and very happy with it. However, a longer draw bar would make reversing easier.
I hope to see your trailer in the flesh one day.
